RoZy Get Godsmacked At KTBZ/Houston's Buzzfest
KTBZ (94.5 The Buzz)/Houston local hometown band winner RoZy opened "Buzzfest" on May 13th. I'll let KTBZ PD Elliott Wood take it from here. "Right after their set, I was back stage talking to RoZy singer Zoe (right) and drummer Molly (2nd from left) as they came off the stage and a guy leaned in to our conversation and said, 'You guys did great. That was terrific.' They both said thanks and returned to our conversation. Reading their expressions, I asked, 'you don't know who that was do you?' They didn't. I told them to look again: it was Sully from Godsmack who had been quietly watching all very lowkey. With a hat and black T-shirt on he blended into all the roadies at work. The two where shocked and I said let's get a picture quick before he steps away. The two other guys in RoZY were close and we told them to step in to the picture. Right after the click, I asked the 2 other band members if they realized who that was. And no they didn't, because Sully caught everyone off guard. Of course, it was the moment they all almost missed but were amazed by. What a totally cool move by Sully to have watched their set and given these up-n-comers some encouragement. He is a true rock star!"
