Urban format programming
I'm interested in learning about music programming for the urban format. For a mainstream urban/urban contemporary radio station, what's the best number of power currents to emphasize? I'd also like to know how many 2000s/early 2010s hip hop tracks should be included if the audience wants to hear some throwbacks as well. How frequently should golds and recurrents should be played on a station that emphasizes current hip hop music?
