Looking for simple radio automation software, Google isn't helpful and I'm starting to go crazy.
Just to clarify:
I'm running one radio station that needs to be automated and easy for volunteers to help out with. I've searched high and low but haven't found any radio automation programs with enough info about them. So if any of you can point me in the right direction that'd be awesome!
I'm currently using RCS NexGen and Win 7 OS.

Two options I know of: http://voicetracking.com/. This is a VERY simple program. Easy to use. Not a ton of bells and whistles, but it's stable/reliable.
And: https://stationplaylist.com/ This one can scale up or down as you/your budget sees fit. It's more widely used than the first link I sent. Reliable and used by many small broadcasters, as well as a top choice for hobbyists.

StationPlaylist is the best option for most station - and most cost-effective solution. We have been using it for more than 10 years on country (MOHD) format, also on a local talk format (talk on hard drive). We've used it for syndicated shows we produce and distribute and have many affiliates using it as well. Don't skimp though, get the pro bundle with the Creator (music scheduler) which will make any station sound AWESOME!

This is simple and free. You purchase plug ins for processing, remote management and voicetracking. I use it for trivia hosting, but would work great for a radio station. Excepts playlists from other schedulers and has a build it scheduler:

Station Playlist, hands down. Around $500.00. Very powerful and rock solid. With the freeware, you get what you pay for.
