I just setup a discord server to try and podcast with remote guests and when I go to look at the audacity clip of everything there is cut outs of voices. I believe this is due to a poorer internet connection, so my question is, is it required for hosts and guests alike to have perfect internet to make this method work with no audio cuts?
Discord definitely requires a good internet connection, otherwise voices sometimes completely cut out. You can monitor the connection with the wifi bars under user icons in the voice chat, low green bars should be fine to talk. Otherwise it might be have to do with the Audacity and Discord overlay.
