Mike Gould

Mike Gould is the President & CEO of Eastlan Ratings, an opportunity he has enjoyed for 23 years.

Prior to co-founding Eastlan Ratings in 1999, Mike spent 20 years in local market radio. First stop was as a night jock/station cat feeder at KAST-AM in Astoria, Oregon (back in the days when AM stations were still live 7 to midnight and FM’s were automated all day!). After on-air stints in Seattle and Portland, Mike turned to small market radio management and ownership.

Although not accepted at Harvard, it didn’t take Mike long to figure out that sales people got credit cards with higher credit limits, so in 1990, he moved cross-town in Wenatchee, Washington leaving behind his Program Director stripes to become a first time Sales Manager. The climb up the ladder of small market radio continued with stints as General Manager, Market Manager and finally, Regional Manager for Seattle-based Pioneer Broadcasting.

Mike and his wife of 32 years, Jan, have three grown children and collect old barns on their farm in Chimacum, Washington.
