Industry Vet Bob Waugh Joins Paragon As Consultant

Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors’ “Find Your People” is the first single from their ninth studio album Strangers No More, out June 7th via Magnolia Music. Of the single Holcomb shared “Life is hard. It's a lot harder when you go it alone. “Find Your People'' is a folk anthem about how we need each other. Part of the river of this record is about how to navigate the chaos of economic uncertainty, family drama, political division, and the general untethering that so many of us feel. It's about finding who you trust, who know you, who are there for you in times of trouble, who can call your bluff and tell you the truth, who will stand with you no matter what. LA Born, Ohio raised singer-songwriter Elle King shares a new track “Jersey Giant,” via RCA Records. The single is a never-before-released song by acclaimed artist Tyler Childers. “Tyler Childers is not too far from where my family lives and he’s a legend,” said King. “The life of a song is something so beautiful to me, and country music has taught me to see that the opportunity to sing a song written by someone else, is nothing short of a gift, a blessing. When you hear a song and say ‘I wish I wrote that’ you know it’s a good’n. Thank you, Tyler, for your music, and thank you for entrusting me with this gift. I’m so excited for everyone to hear it.” King co-produced the track with award-winning singer-writer Charlie Worsham. Worsham lends his signature sound for background vocals, plus acoustic guitar, mandolin and banjo. King will join Childers at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on August 2nd and 3^rd on his 2023 Send in the Hounds Tour.

Nashville-based Michigander, the sonic alter ego of Michigan native Jason Singer’s shared second single "Superglue" from his EP, It Will Never Be The Same via C3 Records. "'Superglue' is about second-guessing yourself, which is something I’ve done often,” said Singer. "But I think I’m ok with being a little nervous all the time. I think a little bit of skepticism is ok, maybe even good. I’m really excited to play this one live. This was a song that was made with the intent of playing for rooms of people. It’s very congregational.” On the singalong hook of "Superglue," Singer wonders, "Should I give up on this thing that I’ve been chasing?" The music video, directed by Johnny Chew (Nick Jonas, Dayglow), documents the brutal leg break Singer suffered while filming the music.

LA based, Indonesian born 24-year-old singer/songwriter Nicole Zefanya, known professionally as Niki shares her single “Backburner” Via 88 Rising.  “Maybe I blame my mother bleeding into my stride…maybe it was my father and his wandering eye,” she sings in ‘Backburner’ while mulling a relationship that never seems to stick. Susto shared the album’s title track and lead single, “My Entire Life,” a song with an urgency “to keep living.” The album, set to be released via New West Records was produced by Wolfgang Zimmerman (Band of Horses) and SUSTO’s Justin Osborne and Johnny Delaware. Of the song, “SUSTO’s narrative has always been confessional, and songwriting is my way of trying to make sense of the chaos—good and bad—around me,” observes Osborne. “This record is my story of navigating a bunch of chaos but finding ways to carry on and manifest my own happiness…the last few years were a challenge, but I look back and see that I made it through, a better, truer, and more realized version of myself.” The band will ne on tour to support the release.
