“Pink Lemonade” is the name of the newest song from the English singer-songwriter, James Bay. It will be on his forthcoming sophomore album called “Electric Light” set for release on May 18th via Republic Records.
"If I had to describe my first album visually, it would probably be a flame. This new (sophomore) album is about a real sonic and artistic evolution for me. The feeling of a 100 watt bulb expanding and brightening is what I envisioned. Electric Light came to my mind and I knew it was perfect," James Bay explains.
In 2014, James Bay released his debut single "Hold Back the River", which was certified platinum, before releasing his debut studio album “Chaos and the Calm” (2015). He went on to receive three Grammy nominations in 2016 — Best New Artist, Best Rock Album for his critically-acclaimed debut and Best Rock Song for “Hold Back the River.”
Bay appeared on SNL March 10th. The singer-songwriter has already sold out many dates of his spring tour, which includes stops in London, Los Angeles and New York. He has now announced more dates in the U.K. as well as a fall tour in North America.
