Benny Blanco, born Benjamin Levin in Reston, VA, is a record producer, songwriter and musician.  His work has resulted in over 100 million in worldwide album sales for artists ranging from Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Sia, Kanye West, The Weeknd, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey, Miguel, Camilla Cabello and more. 

Producer Dr. Luke signed him to his publishing company, where Blanco co-produced hits for Katy Perry ("Hot N Cold"), Kesha (TiK ToK") and Taio Cruz ("Dynamite"). Later, on his own, he wrote and produced smashes for Rihanna and Maroon 5, including the latter's "Moves Like Jagger."

To date, he has been responsible for 26 number one songs, been nominated for Grammy awards, and has won several BMI songwriting awards.

"Eastside" is his debut as a solo performer and is released via Friends Keep Secrets, one of two labels he has in a partnership with Interscope Records.  The song was a collaboration with Halsey and Kahlid.  Fans can expect a album coming this fall.      

Benny Blanco will accept the Legend in Songwriting Award from Clive Davis at the City of Hope Cancer Treatment Center’s “Songs of Hope” Event.  Last year over $400,000 was raised for the charity.
