This Weekend

In the states, it's the weekend before the 4th, so now is not too soon to throw a thematic weekend contest out there. A station-to-remain-nameless has concert tickets and they're going to play off the airstaff having gone on-line to buy discount fireworks from a small factory in Mexico. They're going to surprise the PD with a pyro show in his backyard on the 4th. So all this weekend they're testing shells and fuses in the parking lot. You win one ticket for each finger that the intern blows off.

Something For Sales

With the economy in the states, well, just so darn strong, there suddenly seems to be a glut of TV advertising for tech schools and other institutions reaching out to people who are either out of work or looking for a new, hopefully more stable/profitable career. What if you did a Back To School (Again) Career Fair? All the tech schools and community colleges and other programs with booth space in a mall or convention center. Maybe book a speaker or two. You could even get some financial institutions involved.
