Heat

You are either in a heatwave or are about to be in one. I love what Q in Memphis did where they had a hotel banquet dude carve their logo in ice. They then sat it in the parking lot and webcammed it. You needed to guess how quickly a medallion that was frozen in it, would thaw out and drop to the pavement. I believe the winner got a trip to cool off in the mountains of Colorado.

Some of the Newcap stations have The Road Crew. Very simple. They go out and give cold sodas and popsicles to people who work at road construction or other outdoor jobs.

Dawson from KRST in Albuquerque had the idea for the Family Friendly Wet T-Shirt contest. Have a prize for the listeners who can put the most wet t's ON during a set period of time.

Dust

I'm not sure if you saw the dust storm photos from Phoenix but HO LEE COW. KNIX did "Send Us Your Dirty Pics" for tickets to the All Star Fan Fest.
