9/11/11
I am cautiously optimistic that as a medium, we aren't going to entirely suck balls this anniversary.
"Heaven"
The JB-concept remix of "Heaven" by DJ Sammy has literally gone global. Asia might be the last continent to have a station play it. Again, you can embed the link at http://cbskluc.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/dj-sammy-heaven-kluc-9-11-rmx.mp3 Not that getting hits was the whole idea, but KLUC's are up about 300% in the last two days since they sent out the link.
From JC Douglas at Q-104 in Halifax: Hey, if you ever wondered how something like that "Heaven" remix would go over with the audience of a testosterone-laden, edgy, poop & d*ck joke-infused morning show ... check this out: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Q104-FM/141967777087

"Where Were You?"
Everyone is pretty much doing it. KDWB in Minny put together an amazing tribute using listeners and even Adam Levine. They worked on it for two weeks and it ran at 7:46 this morning. The video version is now up at http://www.kdwb.com/pages/911memorial/ They also re-aired the audio from that morning with Angi and Pat staying on the air well after the morning show was over. Dave was sick.
