Shirt Backs
Many of you have done sayings or catch phrases on the backs of your station shirts. Michael Martin moved his daughter into a dorm this past weekend and was wearing a shirt from an Alternative band. It said "I Hate Your Face" on the front. He got no-less then 50 thumbs-up from the students.
Facebook Wrangler
One of the stations had some Lady Antebellum tickets. The plan? The Lady A List. The listener who can add the most friends to the stations list on Facebook will get the tickets.
We've done everything to bribe people to join our social networks. Why not just incentivize it for the listeners and have THEM be the pimps who solicit your bidness.
Time Well Spent
The reason so many holiday charity campaigns fall short of being a "10"? Not just the boring way that we solicit and collect the donations, but the actual charities themselves. Married to someone who has spent her post-college career running non-profits, I've learned quite a bit about these organizations. There are good ones. And there are bad ones. There are ones that are easy to work with. And there are ones that are total ingrates. But even more importantly, there are some TERRIFIC small charities that are eeking by and yet are doing miraculous work. Charities that will be hot buttons for your audience and who can take what you collect and actually accomplish something with it. So take a little time, do some research and show what the Power of Radio can actually do.
'Tis The Season Of Begging
I stay away from getting on here and saying "hire me". But if you are like other managers and are staring at spread sheets and are trying to budget out 2012, I'd love to be considered if you are so insane as to be thinking about hiring a Marketing Consultant. And you can get the service on barter. All the info you need (and less) is at www.cpr-promotions.com
