Tony Travatto from Mix in San Antonio sent me a photo of an empty swatch of grass. This was where the competition HAD been before last night’s Katy show. They packed up and left once the show started. We are in an industry of rocket scientists.

Mix had one of the jocks dressed as Harry Perry and they also had a cut out for photos. The key? They ALWAYS had a crowd at their booth. ZHT in Salt Lake City does Baby Bumps annually and it’s large. KDWB did a version in Minneapolis and it was a hitaggedon. So...Y98 in St. Louis took a shot at it. From Lindsay Wright:

The few weeks leading up to Labor Day we solicited to expecting moms to send us a photo of their baby bumps.  After we received all the entries, we selected the top 10 and then put them online for a week and opened up the voting to our listeners to pick St. Louis’ cutest Baby Bump.  After 165,000 page views...we had our winner!
The contest was set-up and featured a bunch of different photo galleries including our entries, top 10, celebrities, and best of all...the contest was in full swing when Beyonce showed off her Baby Bump at the VMA’s!  It was such an easy contest to execute, easy to find good prizes, and resulted in a nice chunk of page views.
