So, the fun loving and always open-minded folks at Westboro Baptist Church of lovely Topeka, are coming to Dothan to picket the funeral of a Marine because, well, God wants them to. But, they have agreed to NOT do it in exchange for an hour on the air courtesy of Billy & Julie at 106.7 KMX. No comedy prep service could provide the hilarity that will undoubtedly occur starting at &:15 am today.

Christmas Shows

Every market has some station that does a Jingle (Adverb) or similar show. Now in SFO did The Triple Ho Show last year.

One of the stations is looking for a name for this year.

We're in Radio. People assume that when we have our staff party, we'd get Josh Groban and Andy Grammar and Jay Sean to come and entertain us. So why not image it as your staff party? And like every party, your DJ's get to bring a guest. So it would be Lucas + 100. And JT + 100. Etc. It makes it less contesty and more of "Hey, you're one of my guests for the social event of the station year". And for the stations that DO these things every year, you always need to add something or they'll risk becoming stale. And trust me, I've BEEN to these things where except for the hair, it hasn't evolved since 1988.
