Campbell's $5000 Wild Kingdom
Just wrapped at K-Rock in St. Johns where they collaged the sounds of three members of the wildlife community. ID all three and win $5000. For the record, a camel, a dolphin and an otter.

Street Team Call-Ins
If you're not getting call-ins from the streets, you're not getting "full credit" for owning them. One of the stations is re-coaching the Team on how to do these and do them well. Email me at nwcpromo@earthlink.net, compliment my fair and I'll send you a tutorial just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
Powered By Humans
My goal has always been to have a station "powered by a gerbil" for Earth Day. Radio 104.1 in Hartford did the next best thing. From Fisch: "Radio 104.1 kicked off Earth Week by hooking the station's power up to one of the green spinning bikes at the Downtown Yoga Studio in Hartford...if Kaiser got off the bike and stopped pedaling, the station went off the air! Very funny stunt...Picture a Hamster on a wheel...only Kaiser is fat!! Simple to do too if you have a Green Gym like we do...some funny sound effects and some orange extension cords plugged into nothing go a long way!!" (To paraphrase Mr. Chow from "Hangover": it funny cuh he fat)
Project Cinderella
This is awesome. From Kiss in Amarillo: For prom, we are now doing our 3rd annual Project Cinderella. It's easy and doesn't cost any money at all. We solicit listeners to donate new or gently used formal dresses, they simple deliver them to the studios or a drop off location, like a formal wear store. We then allow listeners to nominate young ladies that simply can not afford a dress for the prom but want to go and do have a date. They can do that online or drop off letters at the studio.
It's crazy the way the community pulls together and gets us the dresses of all sizes. We actually get enough every year to get every single nominee a free dress! Then we just pick through the left overs, we save the best of the best for next year, and donate the rest to a non-profit group like Casa.
