Manicure For The Cure
From Rick Roddam in Fresno: Manicure for the Cure - Get local salons and day spas to donate their time and supplies for a marathon broadcast in October at a client location. Ladies are encouraged to come to the client and recieve $5 manicures (which evidently is a huge bargain). Every penny will go to the Susan G. Komen foundation. Hoping that we'll raise lots of money, get some press and have one very happy client. Then 2 weeks later, we do another event called "Pedicure for the Cure"
WTF?!
Proving that umbrellas aren't just for the Summer, one of the stations is doing that as their umbrella for the season: Whatever This Fall. They're already doing Whatever Workdays and, well, whatever else comes along.
Hanging Around Work
One of the stations is taking the Back To School doorhanger idea and using it for the at-work audience.
Several different hotel-style "Do Not Disturb" signs on the website.. Download and clip out. Really, prohibitively expensive to do:)
You could add the element of spotchecking. Let us know where you work. We pop in and you have one of these, you get (prize from a client). If you're LISTENING, we double the pot and throw in (prize from a client). At the end of the day, for the mid-day audience, free food is King. Still.
Or flip that. Listening gets the prize. Wallhanger gets you bonused.
Just shoot me for saying this...but in a PPM World..at-work listening is BIG.
