If celebrities are doing it, it must be a trend: Super-distressed jeans are the hottest look for denim this spring. And by "super-distressed" we mean "practically destroyed." Instead of strategically placed frays and tears here and there on their denim, SheFinds.com says stars like RIHANNA, KATE UPTON and KIM KARDASHIAN are walking around in jeans with giant gaping holes with a near "50-50 denim-to-skin ratio." TV Briefs:

Former "Price is Right" host BOB BARKER will be making a cameo appearance on today's edition of CBS-TV's soap, "The Bold and the Beautiful." He'll be "interviewed" by Liam Spencer on the show for an article about controlling the pet population.

Everyday heroes:

A couple in Pittsburgh tied-the-knot, even though the groom suffered a heart attack.
68-year-old BOB ADAMS was on his way to get hitched when he had a heart attack. He pulled over and called paramedics, who refused to let him continue to the wedding venue. Instead, rescuers insisted he go to the emergency room --where an impromptu ceremony was performed. A paramedic explains, "He said that he was getting married one way or another, no matter what." The preacher showed up and they got married right in the emergency room.
Once he recovers, Adams plans to take his new bride, MARY PIZZUTO, to Las Vegas for the honeymoon. (Still)

Tony Award nominations:

Tony Awards nominations were announced yesterday. No real surprises. NEIL PATRICK HARRIS got a nod for Best Actor in a Musical for "Hedwig & The Angry Inch." That's why he's not hosting the awards this year. HUGH JACKMAN will be back to do the honors on June 8th. CBS will carry the big event live. IDINA MENZEL nabbed her third nomination, thanks to her starring role in the musical, "If/Then," which is not up for Best Musical. Maybe they'll get JOHN TRAVOLTA to present that category!
Most of the Hollywood stars on Broadway got ignored this year. JAMES FRANCO, MICHELLE WILLIAMS and DENZEL WASHINGTON are all currently in shows, but none of them were nominated for anything. But, "Breaking Bad" star BRYAN CRANSTON is up for Best Actor in a Play for his take on President LYNDON JOHNSON in "All The Way." WOODY ALLEN scored his first ever Tony nomination for Best Book of a musical for "Bullets Over Broadway." Don't expect him to show up for the ceremony.

Grace notes:

Smoke 'em if you got 'em will take on a whole new meaning at a new series of classical music concerts. The Denver Post says the Colorado Symphony Orchestra is putting together "cannabis-friendly" fundraising events called "The High Note Series." The CEO of the orchestra says he wants to take advantage of the state's thriving pot industry to get young people into seats at classical concerts. But, some of the old-school weenies don't think this is appropriate. Naturally, the concerts will be Bring Your Own Cannabis and no pot will be sold at the events. The first three concerts will be at a gallery in downtown Denver with music by a handful of orchestra members. The final show will have the entire symphony performing at Red Rocks.
Editor's note: Perhaps the orchestra will play HANDEL's "Bongwater Music," or the overture to WAGNER's "Tristan und Isolde Dimebag." (Marino)
