Meme It Mondays

Not that any of you are under scrutiny for hits and views but when Jeanne Ashley was at Star in KC she started doing a Caption Contest on her section of the site every day. She even went out and got prizes from clients. And the numbers went up 600%.

Huh. Maybe "time killing" stuff that your audience can do while sitting in drudgery filling out TPS Reports, works?

The 2014 version of Jeanne's bit would be Meme It Monday.

Instead of searching for a pic in the public domain or Getty Images, just post a shot taken by one of the show over the weekend. Post and have a link to a free service like http://makeameme.org/

People sit at work, bored, they look at a photo of a very pregnant Josie sitting in a deck chair eating pizza with one hand and cake with the other and create a meme ("Sometimes there's just not enough hands") which they then post to either your social media or your site, depending on where your companies priorities lie. It doesn't have to be a contest but it could, depending on the Degree Of Difficulty your owners have with Legal Stuff(tm).
