The Absolutely 100% Totally Rigged Contest

As done by Zeto and Kera at Mix in Springfield where they've started a new morning show feature. They are very upfront about it when they get their caller that this is absolutely 100% totally rigged. They're going to start naming off prizes and when you say "Stop!" you win whatever is next. Private jet, ski lodge, Beamer...STOP...a pair of tickets to the Women's Show.

Two Pair

Starting at a station next week, all winners will get two pair of prizes: a pair of tickets to a NASCAR event and a pair of numbered Super Balls. At the end of the week all the balls will be tossed down the inner stairwell at the building and the first to get grabbed at the bottom, wins a pretty amazing pair of tickets on the infield pit area at the track.

For ratings, The Black Box is about to start somewhere. It's the Secret Sound, which has never failed to play to the 93% of people who are sitting in their cars waiting to hear their favorite song. It sucks them in. And time you can engage the majority of non-contest players, you will win.

Another version of that, that is probably going to fill some time at a station in October, will be The Locker Of Mystery. Poking a little fun at the last morning show, who went out in a blaze of glory. If you can ID the seven items they stole from various people at the station and never were able to retrieve from their locked locker, you win cash.

Maybe The Best Results From A Radio Contest In 2014 (So Far)

KMX in Dothan had a Spring book that most people only dream of. Here's what they did and full credit goes to Charlene, Squirrel and the people at the station. I think I might have made one suggestion but this was all them:

Part 1.... Find the KMX XMAN 5 weeks 2 clues a day released on air. Put the clues together and they will tell you the location, time, and description of the XMAN. Find him/her and say "Are you the KMX XMAN?" and you will receive $1000. Each week we have a new XMAN. The clues on air were very cryptic and sounded like the serial killer in the movie Saw.

Part 2....The KMX X PROJECT. KMX has 200 Xs. One of Xs will win you $10,000. Collect as many Xs as possible by going to our X Stops, by winning them with our on air contests, or by commenting at an appropriated time on FACEBOOK. 5 week promotion. We had a remote site and did a draw down, to encourage more people to come out who had not been able to win Xs we had 20 wild card Xs that got you in the drawing. When we got down to the last 5 contestants we gave them a time limit as to whether they wanted to split the $10000 or keep drawing. They kept drawing until the last 3 decided to split. It was very exciting we had over 300 people and their families show up for the draw down.
