Drop A Dime On A Co-Worker

Alli at WiLD in Tampa is literally so cool that I shouldn't be allowed to hang with her. When she has something like Chillin' Music Fest in her midday show, she does "Drop A Dime" which is basically you calling in and anonymously ratting out a co-worker.

As Wed At Walmart

Every Valentines some dunderhead™ will get married at Waffle House and the photos will circle the globe in a nano second and the video will end up as that "humorous story about silly people" that takes up the last 18 seconds of the evening news.

B-96 in Chicago, 92.3 in New York and a smattering of other stations have married people at White Castle, and it was invariably huge? Next level? For 2015? Walmart. Best Friends…Forever?

There's a consultant who I have to sometimes work with who hates "bits". Well, Jimmy Fallon does bits. Kimmel does bits. Conan does bits. And all three are abject failures so I can see his point.

Hands down the best bit of 2014 (so far) is at Hot 92.3 in Fredericton where they're torturing listeners.

After an audition process, we now have 5 pairs of Best Friends who will challenge their friendship all to win $10,000! Each day the listeners get to pick one of two challenges for the best friends to execute. Yesterday, after the HOT Lego Walk of Hell, we asked listeners to vote for either #HOTPISS or #HOTFEEL. Naturally, the piss wins as it always does. We brought them into the studio, instantly got them to down bottles of water forcing them to expect that they would physically be pissing on their best friend…but that would be just cruel…and likely illegal. But we shocked them when we announced they would be doing a water balloon toss with a water balloon filled with Mare In Heat Urine (very popular in New Brunswick). They were to toss the balloons and if they caught the balloon, take a step back. As each were eliminated their point values would decrease til we were left with one unexploded balloon of piss. However, we then twisted it again by offering bonus points to the winners if they would be willing to go until their balloon broke…which it did, in the girls hand as she was getting ready to throw it. It smelled…really really bad. And this is only day two of the challenges with many more to go!
