There's an amazing truck giveaway that I saw a station in Houston do called The Truck Stops Here. Basically they got a truck, put a pint of gas in it and drove it around a rodeo ring. The qualifiers were evenly spaced around the oval and whoever it conked out in front of, won it.

Done with a jetski at the beach on Grand Cayman by Hot as "Good To The Last Drop".

And then Ocean 100 in Charlottetown comes along with The Snow Blower Roundabout.

And...They're Off!

Got something fun to giveaway? A trip? Or front row tickets? Remember the "Still Going!" battery TV spots? KDWB in Minneapolis does better submit-post-vote galleries that anyone else, and their hashtag ticket contests regularly cripple social media. For Valentines last year they did a sponsored gallery promotion that awarded a wedding package to the "Frolicking Fiance's" who got the most votes. Basically run outside in your swimsuits and take a photo with your fiancé.

When CPR Director of Computer Stuff Bel Boschi was a 16 year-old Brazilian exchange student living in Scandia, Minnesota, the first night it snowed she ran outside in her pajamas and took photos. Sadly, I was on the road and only heard about this second hand from my wife.

It goes without saying that quite a few of you will have snow events in the coming months. Have the listeners do hashtagged "Snowfies" for tickets. Either in their swimsuits or PJs or give them a theme every day, like with Lick It For Tickets.

Ugly Bridesmaid Dresses

One of the stations has a $2700 wedding dress to giveaway for Valentines. There are any number of things you could do. What if you got ten listeners who are engaged to pose in the ugliest bridesmaid dress that is gathering dust in their closet? Post the pics. The audience votes for whoever has suffered the most indignity in the past and deserves to FINALLY walk down the aisle, and FINALLY looking good.
