Great Moments In Station Vehicles

Hands down the tank that Wild in Tampa had wins as the best station vehicle of the last 20 years. I'd give the Big Ass Busses that Z-90 had neck-and-neck status with the tank. Wild's jeeps were outstanding too.

I was at a Rascal Flatts show in San Diego last summer and got to enjoy their ambulance. It was arguably one of the most functional vehicles I've seen. And a week later Z-102.9 in Cedar Rapids asked me what they should get; and I said ambulance. Here's a pic from the 4th of July parade. Oh...and they have a beer truck too: the panels slide up and there are walls of speakers.

And Today You Learn Something New

Did you know that there are such things as KISS garden gnomes? And now you do. From Chris Myers at Rock 102 in Saskatoon: Something fun we're doing for KISS tickets on ROCK 102. We bought 4 KISS garden gnomes (one for each character). We displayed pictures of the gnomes outside of the station showing them off. The next morning, they were "stolen". And evidence we always give listeners too much credit? Most of them believe this actually happened! It's creating a lot of buzz on social media and texts. On Monday morning, the culprit will leave ransom notes leading to the whereabouts of the gnomes. Return them and the reward is primo concert tickets. All of the clues and locations are related to each character.
