Vehicular Accoutrement
I was at a station for their Exotic Erotic Ball a few years ago and their vehicles were parked in front of the venue with strobe light accessories that went in the wheel wells. From about two blocks away you could see them. And really, why would you want to hide your vans and SUV's?
These are just as cool and are not staggeringly expensive, but only work for when you're moving. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/191443770760?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true
Re-Gifting
Ocean 100 on PEI was a part of a charity event that was a fundraiser for two of the hospitals in the market...and they won a Jeep! Cool. Even cooler? They donated it back to the charity.
Promotions With Balls
We're in Show Business but it would be hard to tell based on what we do to award these great prizes we get. The Super Bowl? That's a money-can't-but prize that has been wasted on Click & Register contesting. Except for at KLUC where they had a morning show producer getting tackled by five players from the Lingerie Football League. Pick the yardline that they would faceplant him at, and win.
For the second straight year Hot 100 in Norfolk had a Back To School $1000 prize to award with a client, and did it by dropping balls out of a helicopter. THAT is Show Business. https://vimeo.com/182129355
An "Insert The Client" Christmas Promotion
One of the reasons that you should know what your A Promotion for December is now, is that it will be easier to deal with all of the clients who want "something" for Christmas. Because creating something unique for each of them wouldn't only be difficult, but no one wins when you have 27 promotions happening at the same time.
Any form of Match Game is nice because you can plug them into it and require also that they provide a prize of a certain value. Kind of like this.
