Proof That You Can Over Think Prizes

Jamz in Birmingham has done everything but put a man on the moon. Contesting wise? They've done HUGE spectacular promotions. Everything from Fugitive to stealing gas and giving it away and maybe the simplest and largest was Food & A Flick. Call and win movie tickets and dinner at Chilis or Fridays every hour.

A station-to-remain-nameless is going to do fully prepared Thanksgiving dinners between now and Thanksgiving. Win and the day before Thanksgiving go to the client and pick it up. KRTR in Honolulu did this with the Hyatt and similarly prepared Easter meals and it was massive.

Elf On A (BLEEP)

This came up at a station that's trying to plan out some December stuff and who, last year, had gone and hidden some of those creepy elves around town. Like "Lick It For Tickets", you would give out a different "item" or challenge each day and people would go out and Instagram a shot of the elf on, say, the hood of a cop car. Daily winners would get hooked up with seasonal show tickets or other holiday stuff.

Game On Thrones

The bugs are being worked out on this for a night show somewhere. Basically every night an intern would go out to a public bathroom at a bar or library or wherever, and sit in a stall and do call ins with clues as to their location. The first person to come in, pound on the door and demand their (bleeping) tickets, wins. You'd want to mix up the gender so it's not like a guy every night.
