Couch Scout
One of the Sports stations has an audience that wants to talk about their college football team. Every day. Even out of season. Which means that it can kind of be hard to find new stuff to talk about.
So, they're going to turn their rabid listeners into scouts and set them loose on the internet to scout highschool talent that their team should be looking to recruit. People love to have an opinion. This will most assuredly work.
Ticket Troll
I think Dom Theodore when he was at AMP in NY, was the first guy to reward the audience for changing their profile pic with Profiles For Pitbull. They created a station/Pitbull logo for people to swap in and make their social media profile pic.
They then went and trolled people who liked/followed the station and rewarded random people with concert tickets.
In 2017? "Troll" is big. Ticket Troll would be a hit.
John Mayer
On-sale in a bunch of markets. Since he's "dated" half the women in Hollywood, one idea being bandied about(tm) at an iHeart station is to put all of his ex's pics on the site and listeners have to arrange them in chronological order.
21 Pilots
Several stations are looking at on-site stuff for their shows. In 2017, really, all you need is to do is give people something they can take a photo with. This was WIL's set-up for Dierks Bentley that played off "Drinks On A Plane." You could do this with a couple of guys dressed as pilots. Maybe.
The Lego Challenge
This was a Terry O'Donnell idea as something to replace or followup the Ice bucket Challenge. Walk across a room full of Legos and post the video as an awareness thing or fundraiser.
Could also be done as a trip contest, ie: "Let'sgo To (Place)"
