The Teddy Bear Posse

Newcap in Edmonton may have stumbled on something when they collected several HUNDRED THOUSAND teddy bears post-Katrina and drove them to Texas to distribute to kids living in shelters who had lost everything.

Since then it's been a great "reaction" to events like Sandy Hook where listeners want to help but are kind of stuck on what they can do from a 1000 miles away. Teddy bears have been collected and distributed to first responders for giving to children they encounter on the job.
