Since we're always looking for "stuff" to do on social media, this is a great. It's like a visual Secret Sound. It kind of sucks you in; who the HELL is that? For instance, name this guy who most recently lived under a bridge in Michigan for a cassette from the prize closet.

This one is almost too easy. Her first name is one of her celebrity sister's three middle names.

A few years ago one of the stations had a Jay Z concert and the morning after he called and said he'd lost his phone while he was in town. He offered a reward of a trip to see another of his shows on the road to the listener who could find it.

Basically they did a mobile phone in a part of town where there would be some good ambient SFX and at the top of every hour called it. It was an auto pick-up so after five or six rings, it answered and for 30 seconds you could hear "stuff". Find the one, bring to the station, win.

If you had an artist who would play with you and could call and cut something for the promo, the 2015 version would be Periscope. Artist gives the morning show his passcode, they remotely turn on the phone and listeners find it based on the visual.

Radiowave in Windhoek has added video bios for all of the shifts and talent. This is kind of a compilation of that plus a behind the scenes view of the operation. Watch people when they take a tour of the station; they're soaking it all in. You should do something like this for your place. And in case you've never seen a station in Africa.
