Live I
It's possible that this is coming back somewhere. Basically it's a form of Money Man or Fugitive with the hook being that the only clue being appt. time Facebook Live feeds from an iPhone stuck in the pouch of someone's backpack as they stroll around the market.
Bad New Ballads
This is something that Russell Rush at 96.1 NOW-FM in San Antonio has done with a song writing friend: they will take a message like "I'm breaking up with you" and put to song so it's maybe not that crushing of a blow. Doing that and going around to offices to sing these to listeners might be fun. You might also get punched.
UNdateable
I'm an unrepentant fan of The Middle. One of the episodes last season was Axel going out for beers and basically running into every woman that he's dated since the series began, who explain to him why he's still single and miserable. If there is a member of the morning show or airstaff....it would be fun to bring in and ambush them with all of their ex's who slice and dice them live. Maybe they'll learn something. But they're in Radio so maybe not.
Couch Scout
One of the Sports stations has an audience that wants to talk about their college football team. Every day. Even out of season. Which means that it can kind of be hard to find new stuff to talk about.
So, they're going to turn their rabid listeners into scouts and set them loose on the internet to scout highschool talent that their team should be looking to recruit. People love to have an opinion. This will most assuredly work.
Ticket Troll
I think Dom Theodore when he was at AMP in NY, was the first guy to reward the audience for changing their profile pic with Profiles For Pitbull. They created a station/Pitbull logo for people to swap in and make their social media profile pic.
They then went and trolled people who liked/followed the station and rewarded random people with concert tickets.
In 2019? "Troll" is big. Ticket Troll would be a hit.
