Coach Ella
ALT94.9 in San Diego continues their ticket giveaways and video series for the giant music fest happening to their north and east. The tickets have a perceived value of about a million bucks and they're doing 13 pairs a day. And making it user-friendly: tell them when you can listen and they might call your name. https://alt949.radio.com/contest/super-mega-colossal-coachella-giveaway-2019#//
And Coach Ella continues to be the driving force behind the promotion.
NTR On Wheels
Power 96 in Miami had a limo for a long time that they used as a grand prize for just about every contest they had: win tickets and qualify to go to the concert or movie in a limo. And in between events, they leased it to listeners.
97 Rock in Buffalo has upped that in terms of sheer girth: rent their bus. http://www.97rock.com/2016/02/05/bus/
Mariah
She's coming over, around, through or under a number of the markets in the next couple of months. First, this promo was topical at the time but I would not encourage you to use it in conjunction with ticket giveaways. I'm just posting because it's funny and when it ran, a guy from B-96 in Chicago literally went All Chernobyl on me and vowed that "When MC plays Cedar Rapids, that station is not getting any love from her!"
When she was first breaking out, my station did a parody "The Mariah Carey Car Alarm" because of her ability to hit high notes. You COULD do "Mariah Carey Or A Car Alarm" as a contest, or see if the dog at the people's home four doors down will start barking when you play "Victim Of Love".
You could present your tickets as Nicki Minaj's tickets that Mariah wants you to have.
The tour is "Caution". Give away tickets and the best parking spot at the venue that you will graciously save by blocking it off with police tape until they arrive.
As something on-site, do Mariah Carey-oke and have concert attendees warble her hits for chances at upgrades.
