The Mistake Show

Drew Carey did it on his TV show. The Eagle in Norfolk did it on their website for April Fools; they announced that there were 37 errors on the website. Spot them all and win. Their numbers for the day hit the stratosphere.

A couple of the morning shows have done it as a one day feature. Listen from 6 to 10 and then enter every mistake that was made for (whatever). Not that you'd want someone glued to the show for four straight hours...

This was a Dave Ryan contest from a few yearss back. He whispered a "subject" to Steve-O who had ten seconds to hastily draw it. This was then posted and the first person to guess what it was, won. From Dave: We did it twice. Once with huge web numbers and once with mediocre web numbers. The difference is the first time we did it for a big prize and let it sit up online for about 10 or 15 minutes before we took calls on it. That was huge. The second time we put it up for a smaller prize and immediately took callers. Almost no action on it. Lesson learned.
