Poster Cards
Ciro Sepulveda at ALT949 in San Diego has a great resources for pretty much any kind of sign you would ever need. Table tents. Door hangers, Yard signs. Postcards. And for the Dodgers/Padres series he got "BEAT LA" 11X17 postercards and they went through all of them right away. He says this company does great and quick work. https://www.nextdayflyers.com/
Scott MacKenzie with Summit in Honolulu tipped me to these walking TV boards. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_Ikf6zVSrY
The World's Largest Baby Shower
Carrie Underwood kicked off her tour in Greensboro and 93.1 The Wolf led up to the show with daily Ticket Blasts: they opened up the phones and if you got through in a 20 minute period, you won tickets. (They had over 400)
At the show they collected diapers for a local charity. https://931wolfcountry.radio.com/blogs/clay-jd-walker/carrie-underwoods-baby-shower-was-huge-success-greensboro-wednesday-night
If you haven't used diapers as a hook for something like disaster relief, it can be huge and definitely will stand out from "text a code to the Red Cross". myTalk 107.1 has collected over half a million (and delivered them) to victims of hurricanes in the past 18 months.
The What The Hell Question
Dallace Jade at Magic in Colorado Springs has been doing The What The Hell Question for seven years and it's kind of like "Are You Smarter Than Staci?" at KS95: people set their clock by it. She takes a caller and asks them the kind of question about them or their relationship that would generally elicit a "What the HELL?!" response. She's using is to do Jonas Brothers tickets. https://www.facebook.com/989magic/videos/456581521782814/UzpfSTUwMDAyMzYwNjoxMDE1NzE5MjU2NTM5ODYwNw/?epa=SEARCH_BOX
