The Sign Of A Great Sales Staff
They break into the GM's office and stage drunken photos. From Summit/Springfield.
Frozen Wash Clothes
First, if you are out in warm weather at an event like a festival where people can bring their pets, have a large plastic bowl and some jugs of fresh water. Set it up adjacent to your booth and be a hero to the people who bring their dogs.
One of the things that people with little kids discovered a long time ago was that taking a washcloth, rolling it up, soaking it and freezing it gives you a simple and easy-to-transport cooling device. You can get wash cloths in bulk for about 29 cents or less, and for a little more you can get them logoed. Boom. There's your fair or festival hook to get parents to stop by your booth. And a washcloth is swag, frozen or not, that will be used and not discarded like a cheap key chain.
Target Tag
In the beginning there was Ticket Tag. And it was great. And then AMP in Detroit did Cash Tag. And it was greater. The concept is simple; you need to know the name of the previous winner, to win. And on and one and on. Lots of plays. No qualifying
What is the A#1 Prize you could give someone in August? A giftcard to Target? Why? It is to Back To School what Vegas is to Gambling.
Target Tag. Win gift cards by knowing the name of the previous winner.
Artist Face Booking
One of the stations' competitor's got a really cool opp with an artist and the label threw them a bone and said they could do something but NOT A PERFORMANCE.
So what if you played off Face Jack from last week and one listener/fan has their social media page hijacked by an artist for a few hours. Kind of like the OLD bit of "Eddie Money will be taking over the Jack studio this Friday morning." But bigger.
Imagine being a fan of Harry Styles and he RAN YOUR FB PAGE for an hour. You would be a GOD(DESS) amongst your peers. And it's easy and free and the artist doesn't need to go anywhere or do anything.
