The 12 Cars Of Christmas

Giving away leases generally sucks. One of the stations here in Minny spent the entire summer focused on awarding a 2 year lease and as hard as their veteran announcers tried, it just came off as sounding kind of cheap and skeezy.

You can pretty much follow "The 12...." with anything. PXY in Rochester did The 12 Daves Of Christmas with Dave Matthews tickets and a trip to the Letterman show.

One of the cool stations has a client that wants to do a lease-like contest in December. The Promo Director, may have fixed it: the winner will get a different BMW to drive every month in 2020. I added the name and of course will take all of the credit if anyone asks.

Yet Another Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Most of you have some very fun things planned for next month. Excellent!

One of my favorite Programmers is Erin/Jude/Charlie/Destiny (she used to "dance") formerly of Pamal in Albany where she kicked serious behind for years and now at Y-101 in Jackson.

Her station does a Blondes 'N Brunettes fundraiser game every year. How cool is that? And, a savvy Sales person would find multiple opportunities for clients to get on board.

We pretty much will roll over for anyone for a buck so it was nice to see one of the C Company stations say no to a gun store that wanted to buy a sponsorship of a Back To School backpack thing.
