I went out with the promo team from Entercom in San Diego to do site surveys of the Sports Arena, the amphitheater and Petco Field, looking for signage opps, vehicle placement locations, entrance and exit traffic flow and other places to be exploited, including businesses that can be converted into rev and used as broadcast hosts.

Jog With A Jock

I just stayed at a hotel where they promoted that the manager went jogging every morning at 6:45 am starting in the lobby and taking a scenic route around the area. He hated to jog alone so if you run in the morning, go with and they’d have free cold water for everyone when they got back. I’m NOT up at 6:45 so I asked what the turn out was and they said, “Usually 5 or 6. Sometimes up to a dozen.”
