Book Reading
This is something that came up really early on with Hubbard in the Twin Cities: DJ’s reading bed time stories to kids. Dano at Froggy 92.9 in Santa Rosa is the latest “on” it. https://www.froggy929.com/2020/03/25/dano-kids-books-ep-2-dragons-love-tacos/
Quaranjeans
I knew that Mojo was going to do something brilliant during this crisis…and he has. Buy yours for $28 and help fund his Breaking And Entering program in December. https://channel955.iheart.com/featured/mojo-in-the-morning/content/2020-04-06-mojo-in-the-morning-quaranjeans-for-charity/
Stir Crazy
It’s a good term because people are literally going nuts in lockdown.
Quite a few stations are doing Happy Hours. Lo at Live in Portland is mixing Quarantinis and doing mixology demonstrations. https://www.live955.com/videos/quarantini-of-the-week-ep2-espresso-martini/
If you’re still stuck for a name, boom, Stir Crazy. Every afternoon mix up a new cocktail. We’re not encouraging people to drink. We’re just acknowledging that they are.
I Spy
This has become a “thing” on social media and a friend from high school capitulated and joined the trend.
As people are slowly going bonkers in quarantine, ANYTHING we can toss their way to keep them sane would obviously be repaid in goodwill. So maybe that’s something you add to your digital efforts. Lob out an item or two every day that someone might find in their house or yard. A stress ball. Bandana. Bottle of booze. School books. A bottle of booze.
And here’s an interesting thing that one neighborhood did to keep their kids busy. https://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/social-distancing-neighbors-stay-connected-with-i-spy-game
