Possibly The Greatest Email Ever Sent From A GM To His Staff
From Joe Bell to the employees at BBGI/Philly –

In all the years I’ve done this, I don’t remember ever sending an e-mail out regarding Toilet Paper. But unusual times call for unusual measures.
In going to the store, I’ve become aware that TP is in short supply. I went to 3 stores the other day without a roll to be had. And since Rodney knows somebody (of course he does) I asked him to buy a bunch.
So….Beasley Philadelphia has TP. If you need some, let Rodney or I know. We are offering delivery service, or you can come to the parking lot at One Bala and we’ll put in in your trunk for you.
We’re all in this together and we will get through it. Be safe and have a great Easter Weekend.

Also In Philly
This is something that ‘MGK in Philly is part of and yes, there are people who would jump all over this in a heartbeat. “Corona Cosplay”. It plays into the whole “distancing yourself from reality” thing I lobbed out in regards to the Masker Aid Ball.
Quarantunes
Selling requests has always been a great fundraiser. Mix in Cincy has done it a few times with big success and Newcap in Edmonton raised close to $90,000 for Katrina relief in just four days. Their hook was: “Request a song for $20….and block a request for $97.” They’d let you know that Dan in Arlington had requested “Toy Soldiers” by Martika and it was coming up in three songs unless you stopped it.
If there’s a great local organization that’s helping people who have lost their jobs ala “Adopt A Waiter” from WRMF in West Palm, here’s your fundraiser.
Nurses Week
It’s May 6 – 12 and one of the Veeps was looking for stuff that his stations could do with it.
- What if you did a version of the Frontline Shout Outs but focused just on nurses.
- Mix in Cincy does a Nurses Night Out every year. What if you did a Nurses Night In with a virtual happy hour, music, recipes, cocktails?
Congraduations
In what most certainly be a record, it’s the Trifecta for Jay Cruise at Mix in Cincy. One of the things they have done for Valentines is “Love Graffiti” where you can write love messages that appear or scroll across the screen.
Much like the Senior Spotlight from yesterday, there are going to be parents, sibs and friends who are giving extra love to people in the Class of 2020. A scroll would be fine. Recorded messages that are phoned in, scheduled and you then alert all parties involved as to the time that they’ll air, would be great too.
