Start. Selling. This.
Mix in Cincy has done an annual Nurses Night Party for the latex gloved listeners. And it’s big. What would be bigger? When this thing is over, and it will be, what about a massive community celebration for nurses, doctors, EMT, cops, first responders, fire, etc? Thank you to Robzilla at Entercom in San Diego for the thought-starter.
Boom
Following tragedies like mass murders, there is always some kind of “Strong” movement on social media. As there should be. 98.9 The Bull in Seattle is first ‘on’ that for this crisis and are using "Seattle Is Not Cancelled.”
Pets
During the financial crisis of 2009, a friend in the Bay Area got furloughed and at one point almost had to give up her dog because she couldn’t afford to feed him. This was during a time when there was a HUGE spike in pets being dropped off at shelters by people in similar situations. She got through it because she was able to get free pet food through a community organization in Concord.
Do you have a client that would help out with that?
Since You’re At Home…
Fernando at 99.7 NOW-FM in San Francisco was Facetiming with his audience yesterday. The station started their $5000 Secret Sound on Monday so he suggested that his listeners experiment around the house and send videos of themselves trying to crack the sound.
Who’s Down With RDS?
KJ-103 in Oklahoma City is the latest to tweak the feed to car radios.
Another Great Video
From Rudy at KS95 where he battles with his daughter for TP.
The 1st Annual Lock Down Fashion Show
Just because people are stuck at home doesn’t mean that they should let themselves go and look like crap. How about having one of your talent and a clothing store client do a tongue-in-cheek fashion show for people working in their pajamas.
Helpers Of The Day
This is something that Q-92 in Poughkeepsie just launched and every day will be honoring people who have stepped up during the Novel Coronavirus crisis.
