Kimberly & Beck
Things are a wee bit, tad bit, tense right now. After what the “talent” said in Rochester and their very immediate dismissal, you should occasionally scan the competition’s DJ’s social media pages. And your own talent? You should kind of troll them to make sure that right now, with everyone kind of freaked out, they’re not sharing anything that someone might take the wrong way.
Fourth Of July Parades
Not that I ever wanted to join Dino Conrad and his family crammed body-to-body at the Forest Lake parade, but I definitely don’t want to this year. Summit in Knoxville is partnering with the city to encourage people to decorate, have music and create their own stationary parade for the rest of the community to drivethru.
Camp 107.7
The first episode of Jammin’ 107.7’s virtual summer camp for kids and parents who will be missing out on the experience in 2020, aired yesterday. Day one? Building a campfire and making s’mores.
Frontline Heroes
KS95 in the Twin Cities has started their own salute to local heroes but have added the hook that not only the hero gets the trip but the person who nominated them does too.
You have to be from Minnesota to understand what a brilliant prize this is: it’s close (and fantastic) and in 2020, people are a little hesitant to jump on planes. They want to be able to drive to their vacation spot. Kind of like…
…Panama City
If you live in Chattanooga you have PC as one of your vacay places. So US 101 and their sister station Kiss both have trip contesting for that on right now.
Self Isolation Story Time
This is great. From JACK in Calgary where they’ll read stories for kids and adults every night, demonstrating why they did not go into serious academia but fell in Radio.
