In 2020 ANY prize that allows you to stay at home or do something recreationally that is safe and specific to the market is going to be great. Like “Take A Hike” at one of the stations where they’re doing hiking gear. The stations that are giving away bikes. NOW in San Antonio just did kiddy pools. And this from Q-103.5 in Columbia where people showed their yards to win an outdoor movie system.

FOOD….FIGHT!!!!

One of the Summit stations is about to start “Feed The Fam”. Win some Jack In The Box and qualify for $250 at Jack In The Box. Mentally? I’ve already entered.

iHeart in Des Moines and Entercom in Chattanooga have done contests that had listeners decide the best ice cream parlor (Des Moines) and Mexican restaurant (Chattanooga). The restaurant got some free spots and one of the voters got some food.

What if you did that as a bracket thing with “rounds”. Food Fight #1? Best Pizza in town. #2? Chinese. #3? Craft beer. #4? Apps. #5? Burgers. #6? Mexican. #7? Sandwiches. #8? Coffee. #9? Seafood. Someone who votes gets food and the winner of each round gets marketing support from the station.

One of the things that we KNOW you will get entries for is any kind of “show us your pet” contest. Yule Dogs. Halloween costumes. Dogs and babies. ‘QYK in Tampa asked people to submit photos of their Furry Coworkers when people relocated home in March.
