I’ve Got A Golden Ticket!

I was at the site for a major market arena over the holiday weekend and they have listed all of the rescheduled shows for 2021. Now…there would need for some things to occur, but, when its “safe” and tours are touring, it’s going to be an orgy of concert going.
People love live music. People miss live music.
One of the great Radio contests has always been “win a ticket to everything we do in the coming year.” And with January usually being a giant black hole of promotional nothingness, that could be the thing you slot in there. Most stations will usually do a contest where everyone who wins in January qualifies, but the gold ticket angle is just too good. And you could most definitely sell clients into it.
Karen Cash
Somewhere a station is gearing up for their group contest. It’s going to be “Karen Cash” and all of the imaging will be done by a very angry listener’s voicemails. We’re also creating a fake Facebook profile for “her” to rag the station throughout the promotion.
JACK To School
The JACK brands with Rogers Media were the first to debut “quarantine time-killing” coloring projects back in March. In Calgary, they’re opening it up to kids to design a mask for their entire school.

Football picks are back at 97 Rock in Buffalo. People crave “normalcy”. This is normalcy in Buffalo.
