So, Stupid That It Would Work
So, many of your will at some point or another do a retro music feature whether it’s a mix show or “Saturday Night Dance Party” like Q in Tampa. What if you did a special one that’s all request, but they have to be faxed in.
One Scream Cinema
Halloweenth haveth arriveth, as least in terms of client requests. 104.1 in Hartford has done One Second Cinema. One second of a famous movie. ID it and win. If you have tickets to Halloween attractions, well, there ya go.
Or you could do it as iScream and have it sponsored by a some place like DQ.
Hauntourage
As exciting as Family Four Packs ™ are, some of these place are more adult or at the very least teen, so doing a group of tickets under that moniker would work.
Morning Show Costumes
Every Halloween, CPR Director of Computer Stuff, Bel Boschi, will get together with some of her hipster doofus friends for Halloween and do a cast photo recreation from an iconic TV show or movie.
This could totally be a different airstaff shot, each day, the week leading up to Halloween. Involve the listeners and have them pick the flicks and shows to re-do.
Master-Tato Theate
Lick It For Tickets has always been a fun social media contest. Throw out a theme or an item (traffic sign or co-worker or tool) and have the audience lick and post. Hilarity will ensue™.
A station in Australia recreated Taylor Swift photos with potatos. Hmmm…This is SO a Radio on-line promotion
As much fun as doing artist recreations based on song titles would be, another option would be to shelve this for December and the next Star Wars film and do a contest based on that series of movies.
