Reverse Parading

I think by now we’ve all mastered the concept of parades. People stand in groups and you drive past them and they shout at you how much they think you suck and “KQ rocks!” (The 80’s were hard for me.) Stingray in Moncton is helping with a local tradition where, this year, they’re doing the opposite. The floats are station and you drive thru them.

There have been some great videos this year but right now, this Halloween masterpiece from KS95 in the Twin Cities is at the front of the pack for winning some prize I pick out of a bin with a claw at White Castle. Its brilliant.

Pumpkin Projecting

Possibly the BEST on-site guy in Radio is Gino Hernandez so it only made sense that he was the first person cut by the new owners in Miami. SMDH.

He could build these extravagant creations for pennies for the station when it was at concerts and fests, and then he started experimenting with the hard stuff….projectors.

He came up with this for floors at clubs and events.

The new thing he’s dorking around with is what can be done with 3D Google Maps.

But for his kids he did a Halloween movie night ON pumpkins using some simple projectors.
