Virtual Santa
Yep. It’s a thing and WiLD in Tampa is on it.
The Christmas Mask
This is going to surprise you but my kids are kind of weird. I woke up yesterday morning and the one in college had left me a VM at 2 am and was singing “The Christmas Shoes” because she knows that song makes me homicidal.
It seems like there’s a place for someone to parody it as “The Christmas Mask”. A little boy standing in line to buy a mask so he could go and do something TBD.
In The Beginning, There Was The Freshman 40
Quarantine 15 became a thing this summer and since many of us will be looking for something to come out of the holiday’s with that can be sponsored, what about a gallery contest. Instead of showing off your great, toned, in-shape bods, show off what 10 months of working at home and eating Doritos for breakfast has done to you.
KLUC in Las Vegas did a version of that for Fathers Day. C’mon, what’s more interesting: in shape people or these guys?
Feeding The Front Liners
There are beginning to be serious crushes on hospital space and resources. And the people who have been working non-stop since March are getting hit again. I think my brother has had three days away from ER since then.
So, if you have NOT done a Front Line Heroes promotion, do. These people could really use some love.
Speaking of which, working on Thanksgiving has always sucked if you have family that you’ll be missing. Traditionally I’ve seen stations who had a DJ or promo person stuck in the market, go and bring food to people at their jobs.
If you could do that with staff at hospitals and senior centers and police stations and fire stations, that would be outstanding. But….everyone is operating under different procedures. Here in Minnesota, any food brought into a senior center, even a bag of chips, gets a 24 hour time out. But if you COULD, it would be great.
If not, do what TJ, Janet & JRod are doing with this sponsored food give away.
