If an air talent is that excited about the return of live music, imagine how the listeners feel. You can try to dress up “virtual” but when it comes to music, live is better and people have been waiting a long time for it. I have a friend in the Twin Cities who is going through so much withdrawal that he is contemplating driving to Florida to see a band. Any band.

So, celebrate this. This is triumphant. Maybe for a couple of days, when you mention the show it has a little mood music. This would work.

The first concert, whenever it is, is going to be way more jubilant and celebratory than other shows. You need to be there with plans to reflect that joy. And create content out of it and play to the TV cameras.
