The DeBella Dog Walk

One of the signature events for ‘MGK in Philly is their annual dog walk. It’s been a big day to come out with your pet, have fun and help fundraiser for local shelters. For the second year in a row, it’s being done virtually but without losing it’s charity angle: vote for a local shelter and they could get $500 in supplies. I heard “What was the first R Rated movie that you went to?” on Garage Logic on 1500 here in the Twin Cities and the show went sideways for 45 minutes.

Two years ago I actually pulled over at a scenic overlook on the St. Croix River and (legally) texted my contribution to “What Twin Cities restaurant do you miss the most?” It was literally went kablooey. So I got my second shot on Friday and celebrated by dining at an iconic 1970’s chain of Mexican fastfood that Taco Bell bought and closed in 1980. They came back 15 years ago with a couple of locations but a LOT of people apparently didn’t know it. As of last night it was still running strong on my page and in three groups.

Great restaurants that people miss: try it.
