Shirts
“People won’t wear radio shirts!” Well, sometimes the shirt might be the problem. I’ve already hit on Slogan Shirts and how they work and get worn.
We Fest is a HUGE concert in northern Minnesota and there are radio sponsors for it from all over the state, the Dakotas and Wisconsin. And when BOB-FM in Fargo got left out, they Rambo’ed it by handing out hundreds of BRIGHTLY colored shirts to people with tickets. I was on the mezzanine level at a Twins game and spotted one from about 8 sections away.
They’re back and doing shirt hits this week. Hopeeully the link works. Facebook Live | Facebook

Froggy 92.9 in Santa Rosa is lining up an air traffic controller who was on the job that morning. That would be some good content for the week leading up to the 20th anniversary.
Lazy Day Weekend
One of the stations that normally has LOTS of concert tickets, don’t for this weekend. It will be hot so for something like this, hook up with your local waterpark.
At the end of August we celebrate the workforce with Labor Day Weekend. This weekend we celebrate the hot and tired workforce with a Lazy Day Weekend: win tickets to kick back and float in the Lazy River at (client).
Insta Fan
To have a celebrity even acknowledge your tweet, is pretty cool. (Albert Brooks and Steve Martin). To have a celebrity reply, is even cooler. (Andie McDowell: “Tonight we drink to world peace.”)
Thus, “Tweet With Fame” was born. The listener who could get the biggest celebrity (judged by the morning show) to reply, won.
One of the stations has Jo Bro tickets and their audience is not on Twitter. So they’re going to do Insta Fan. The listener who can get a celeb to reply with “For God’s sake, stop torturing (listener). Just give her the damn tickets” will win.
