How Cool Would This Look?
Most station wraps kind of all look the same. So one of the GM’s was asking if I’d seen anything creative. 97 Rock in Buffalo has a great one. There are a a few others. But a Radio variation of this would be ridiculous in terms standing out.
Win A Baby!
It’s up and running at Freq 90.5 in Peterborough where couples of begun to submit their stories in hopes of being one of the five finalists for the invitro treatment they’re awarding. This is a really great example of the kinds of people who enter this promotion.

In no particular order:
After tragedies, you will often see a station swap out an image like this and make it the start page for their site or their cover and profile pic on social media.
What if you were to do that but with a live shot of a candle on the 11th. One of the Townsquare stations did that with a roaring fire on Christmas Day. Why? Why not?
Here is imaging for a moment of silence. 9 - 11 - 14 846am Moment Of Silence in September 11th (soundcloud.com)
Elizabethany at Hot 99.5 in DC reminded me that for one of the anniversaries, she and the other staff at Hot in Norfolk all went and did different volunteering and invited the listeners to join them.
Delana Bartz with Alpha is going to have a scroll of all of the names on the 11th and asked where there might be a list. This would be as accurate a compilation as you’re going to get. Names on the 9/11 Memorial | National September 11 Memorial & Museum (911memorial.org)
Rob & Joss at KxKy in San Diego are involved with a memorial that will be happening on the USS Midway, will have some imaging with clips from the organizers of all the events happening in the market, and also have an interview set up with a local woman whose daughter was the youngest victim on Flight 93 and was one of the driving forces behind the memorial in Pennsylvania.
From Mike Tyler at 94.1 The Point in Little Rock: Lots of imaging is being produced, morning show is going to cover it Friday & Saturday, and we’re spotlighting things people can do to volunteer and make a difference.
From Toby Howell with Cumulus: We are partnering with a charity called Veterans Villages of America to raise money on 9/10 for veterans dealing with Suicide, apparently the rate is going up since the whole Afghanistan business started. We will have members of the charity and veterans on every hour of the day from 6a to 6p talking about this issue and talking about the 20th anniversary of 9/11.
