Tell Us YOUR story or Upload a video below.: Where to start. I am a 34-year-old single professional female living in Peterborough with my amazing and slobbery bulldog Capone. I was married until about a year and a half ago to a man who I absolutely thought was my person and we were going to build a family together. Unfortunately, our relationship turned fairly toxic. The more wins I had in my career the more he felt he could put me down at home and make me feel worthless. After trying to work hard on my marriage for over a year, in May 2020 I chose to leave. What was the straw that broke the camels back? When he informed me that although he said he wanted children with me, he had hoped I would either "grow out of it" or "get too old" to reproduce. F’ed eh? So, I left and spent the last year working on myself. While I am still single, I am living my best life and not in a rush to enter a relationship just to be in one or due to the pressure of having a family before my biological ovary clock runs out of time. So here I am, trying to win a baby on a radio contest. I am not trying to say I deserve a baby more than a stable adult couple. But why not consider the diverseness of what a family looks like outside of the typical framework. I am a strong, independent, fierce woman who is also a shit tone of fun. I can provide for a child with or without a partner and this chance would help me to start the family I long to have. Better yet why not empower women that we can achieve anything even if it does look a little different then the stereotypical picture. I hope that you will give my story serious consideration. Thank you!

Oklahoma Sized Marketing

From JJ Ryan at iHeart in Oklahoma City: This statue remains up at the Tulsa State Fair year-round. Every year as a long-standing tradition for the fair our sister station 97.5 KMOD has it wrapped with their logo to look like he’s wearing a station t-shirt. It was just revealed for this year.

Last Call

This came up in regards to a weekend contest.

When ‘BLS in New York implemented commercial free music sweeps, there was some push back from the advertisers who felt that the station was putting a stigma on commercials. So we had the “end of the stopset” be the cue to call. You listened through the spots and when they returned to music they also gave the cue. And the 4% of people who play our games will actually do that. It was done as “Last Call” at Alice in Denver: the last call as the spots ended was the winner.
