Movie news: Big name casting is almost done in that upcoming "Barbie" film from Warner Brothers. MARGOT ROBBIE has already signed to play the action figure and Deadline reports RYAN GOSLING is in final negotiations to play Ken. Some fans have already commented on the casting, with at least one woman noting “The resemblance is uncanny.” In the meantime, Ryan will be playing a CIA agent in the upcoming Netflix action thriller, “The Gray Man,” with CHRIS EVANS.
What happens when you have a tattoo you don't like anymore? For TRAVIS BARKER, it means you get a new one to cover up the old. Travis spent some quality time at the tattoo parlor over the weekend to get a big, black scorpion on his inner arm to cover up his old tattoo dedicated to ex-wife, SHANNA MOAKLER, and another big black tattoo of KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN’s lips for his new fiancée. Of course, he already had Kourtney's name tattooed in script above his left nipple which he got in April.
All of which leads us to the question: How did you cover up the tattoo you no longer liked or wanted?
FOX News rolled out one of my favorite surveys --which Halloween candy debuted in which decade? In case you're wondering:
--1940s: M&M’s, Bazooka bubble gum, Almond Joys, and Smarties.
--1950s: Cinnamon-flavored Hot Tamales, and Pixy Stix.
--1960s: Starbursts, Haribo Goldbears, and Lemonheads.
--1970s: Skittles, Pop Rocks, and Reese’s Pieces (originally named PBs). --1980s: Nerds and Sour Patch Kids.
--1990s: Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Creme bars --2000s: The Jelly Belly Candy Company begin producing the “Harry Potter”-inspired Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans. The original Jelly Beans were born in the 1960s.
Big bucks: A pair of MICHAEL JORDAN's red and white Nike Air Ships trainers were sold for a record $1.47 million at auction. The sneakers were the first ones provided by Nike when they began their partnership and he wore them during his first season with the Chicago Bulls in 1984. In case you're interested, the auction price isthe highest ever paid for footwear from any sport which has been worn in a game. But --they're not the most expensive pair of trainers which have ever been auctioned off --turns out a pair of Nike Air Yeezy 1 Prototypes, which originally belonged to and were worn by rapper KANYE WEST, were sold for $1.8 million bucks in a private sale back in April.
FYI: I will be taking a week off for a trip to Las Vegas for a wedding from Wednesday the 27th through Halloween (Oct 31).
