The best talent allow the listeners into their lives and share their journeys through grief, pregnancy, weight loss and of course, illness. There’s a host on the Audacy Talk station here who has cancer and has opened up her struggle to the audience. It’s amazing Radio and it’s also brought people closer to her.

Last year when Candice at 97.5 K-Rock in St. Johns was on maternity leave, Claudette Barnes stepped into sub while SHE was going through breast cancer. She came back on Wednesday to share her story.
